STEPPES ARTISAN XXI
CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES
A Children's A&S Display (not competition) for ages 5-12 where all entrants will receive a participation award.
Children can display as many items as they want that they have made.
We will use three of the categories and all documentation questions that Atenveldt set forth:
A. What You Wear (tunic, hat, pouch, belt, shoe, tabard, etc.)
B. What You Eat (bread, jam, candy, etc.)
C. What You Use (games, pottery, drawing/painting, etc.)
Documentation Questions:
1. What is it?
2. What is it used for?
3. How did I make it?
These displays will need a table or two to set up on.
Children may sit with their displays during non-MoC activity times (like in the early morning time and later in the afternoon) if they choose.
2. There will be two 2-hour hands on art/science themed classes for children ages 5-12. Children who come will be expected to participate in the activity and not just free play the whole time. A parent will be expected to join us for only 1 hour (regardless of number of children they have in the activity), unlike the typical 1 hour per child. There are only 4 hours of supervised MoC activity so 1 hour from each family should keep up "2-deep".
